Museum Overview

America's premier interactive fire museum in the legendary Fire Engine House No. 1 in downtown Memphis offers education about fire safety.

The Fire Museum of Memphis will allow you to look into the history of Memphis’ first African-American firefighters. Test your ability to find an escape route to survive a fire. Feel the heat of the Fire Room. Learn about the most devastating fires in the history of Memphis.

Exhibits

The Fire Museum of Memphis offers such attractions as The Memorial Wall, The Hale Water Tower, The 1929 American LaFrance Pumper, 1865 Fire Alarm Bell , Fire Safety House and many more attractions.
